"Designed as a slightly smaller assault rifle for speed and mobility, the Para still packs the stopping power of a full sized assault rifle."
―Official Description

The RIA 20 Para is a fully automatic assault rifle featured in SAS: Zombie Assault 4. A reliable assault rifle manufactured by Rubicon Industries, it deals a great amount of damage at its drop level but has a lower rate of fire than most other assault rifles. This assault rifle is a great starting weapon in low ranks, and makes an excellent upgrade to the HVM 005 G-Class, but it starts to lose its effectiveness by level 16-18. RIA 20 Para is possibly the 1st RIA assault rifle you will have before RIA 20 DSC & RIA 20 Striker.

Design[]

RIA 20 Para is a carbine alike to AKS-74U (a derivative of Kalashnikov rifle like AK-47) with a scope & several sling mounts.

Trivia[]

  • Much of the upper receiver is identical to that of the RIA 20 DSC.
  • The term "Para" is also used in real-life weapons to indicate modifications that reduce weight and/or size of the weapon as Para appears to have small size compared to DSC & Striker.
  • "Para" could be short for "Paratrooper" which would explain why this weapon is the shortest model of the RIA 20.
    • Ironically, "para" is Latin for "enlarge".
