"The raptor is the weapon of choice for situations requiring high accuracy and mobility, combined with decent stopping power. 3 shot bursts will drop most light armored human targets."
The Raptor is a Shotlite assault rifle, which was added into the game on June 17th. It has a tiny movement modifier of -2% (the lowest penalty of any gun in the game except most pistols, which have 0%), allowing a player to run around without the worry of being slowed down. It is able to deal high damage with the unique attribute of shooting three rounds in quick succession with every click. However, it can burn through ammo relatively quickly due to its burst fire, and thus maintaining it will cost a lot for ammunition purchases. Its appearance is similar to most, if not all, Shotlite weapons, where the normal version has a sleek design with green lights, and the variant adds red stripes and turns the lights red.
Because the delay of shots within bursts do not increase with the Overclocked augment, the bursts can actually "overlap" if the player rapidly clicks with Overclocked 10 on this weapon.
For the mobile version, the Raptor is a weapon that wipes out any sort of enemy. The Deadly upgrade on the variant makes this AR a formidable opponent against bosses such as the Regurgitator, finishing them off with a single magazine. This is one of the best ARs in the mobile game with Overclocked, Deadly (total of 800 damage) and Capacity (level 10 ). The gun can theoretically become fully automatic, however, firing the weapon without adding Overclocked shows it still fires in 3-Round Bursts.
The version of the weapon has a rear sight.
The Raptor was the only weapon in the game to feature burst fire until the RIA 75 Sniper Rifle was added in the March 23rd, 2016 update.
The Raptor in mobile has a lean structure but in the PC it has sturdy appearance.
The Raptor is named after the aircraft F-22 Raptor.
