―Official Description

The Vitriol is a [PREM] Version fully-automatic ChemicalicoChemical rocket launcher in SAS: Zombie Assault 4, released by Ninja Kiwi as of the 26/11/2015 patch. Vitriol costs 80 NK Coins or $7.99 USD and appears in the store along with Ronson 5X5 and CM 000 Kelvin.

Overview

The Vitriol is one of the two chemical rocket launchers in the game, shooting fast moving green rockets that apply DoT on impact. It is best compared to the HIKS 3100; both have relatively high rates of fire and clip sizes but small blast radius. The rockets that are fired from the Vitriol seem almost identical to that of the HIKS 3100, except that these rockets were colored orange. However, the rockets travel a bit faster than the rockets from the 3100, and on impact, release a green acid splash on the target. The Vitriol is very light compared to most rocket launchers. The DoT is a bit greater than a regular Poison Claw.

Trivia

  • The Vitriol's name suggests it fires sulfuric acid, even though sulfuric acid is clear, not green.
  • This gun, along with the Torment, are the only Rancor weapons with a different skull design.
    • They are also the only Rancor rocket launchers.
    • Vitriol has a logo of demonic skull instead a Rancor-styled logo.
