Zombie Turrets are a ranged enemy that only appear in the mission Power Out in SAS: Zombie Assault 4. In the PC version, it is simply called Turret, and in the mobile version it is given the slightly more creative name Zombie Turret. They are evidently infected CM Supernovas; aside from looking very similar to them, a swf file SAS 4 uses identifies them as Zombie Supernova.
It is deactivated but after you repair Switch Bravo Combot activates them.
As one of enemies taken control by Combot it is a digital enemy and shoots low-damage bullets at about 10 rps. It is considered a hidden enemy as it does not appear in the enemy chart. At higher levels, the turret will start firing high damage rockets or stronger bullets with a green trail instead of a blue one. The rockets fired by a high-level turret can hurt players hiding behind boxes, just like the rockets of the Zombie Mech. For this reason, it is recommended that players attempt to get the "Zero Casualties" achievement before turrets start firing rockets. It is recommended to use non-physical weapons against this enemy as it is highly resistant to physical attacks.
- In the mobile version of SAS 4, the Turrets can even come in Fetid, Evolved, and Apex forms.
- When hitting the turret, blood seems to be coming from it.
- In the early stages of the game back in 2014, there was a savage version of the turret which had more hp and shot guided missiles.
